O what a weekend!
A perfect day sunbathing aboard Black Beauty.
Wind and water help cool the intense heat, as we catch up with friends
and enjoy the day.

After breakfast we cycle to Wellington.
Walking through the house, around the gardens and in the buildings
Our first orientation to our new home.

A perfect sail in the afternoon
breaks up a group of cormorans sitting on the water.

A glorious summer day.

Keys to Wellington in hand,
we drive and cycle to explore, discover and learn
...all about bathrooms and kitchens.

Setting out for a sunset sail,
Swells, waves and winds are high.

A moment of fear takes over,
Confused thoughts of past and future...
Blinded to now.

Sharing with my mate in the evening
gets beneath the fear
I see it
and it is no longer.

A perfect summer day.
The bright blue sky filled with fluffy white clouds,
Heat from the sun with a steady cool breeze.

A lovely luncheon with family I love,
followed by a bike ride to the CNE.
Teenaged fantasy comes true when my mate wins a tiger for me.

A day goes by,
becoming a blur in my history...

Noticing a gap in the blog calendar, I tracked back a week or so to locate the missing day...
A few hours of searches, edits and checks, it's back on track...Whew!

Coffee on the deck before breakfast, a morning dart game and bicycle ride before our return drive home.
Glad we got the ride in before the downpour this afternoon.

The city mice leave a frenetic zone in the city to visit the country mice.
An afternoon cruise on the pond and an evening on the hill in a most incredible hottub with friends...
So many blessings of life...I am grateful.

The air feels heavy this morning. By afternoon, there is a great downpour followed by sunshine and blue skies.
Heading out to watch Inception, a giant cloud to the east catches our attention.

Walking home from Kensington Market, we run into flags and a dancing dragon in Chinatown.
I will miss this dynamic and vibrant neighborhood.

My mate and I have a great cycle along the waterfront with a few refreshing drops of rain.
The sun reappears and it is a beautiful sunny evening.

Time with mom has been good.
Today, she left to stay with a friend until her return home on Sunday.

Dropped off mom at the "steam lounge", Korean style of course, for a 6 hour hangout with her pals.
Lunch with a good friend at a Korean restaurant...and the ultimate in Korean grocery stores - Galleria!

A beautiful day for a holiday Monday. Loving the long summer weekend!

A fantastic sail to lake Ontario to get the group to the Drake concert.
We end the sail at the Boulevard Club just in time for the sunset.
